Unforgettable Mountain Biking Adventures in the Sea to Sky
British Columbia is, hands down, one of the ultimate meccas for mountain biking. Every year, more and more riders travel here to experience the incredible enduro and downhill trails spread across the beautiful Sea to Sky. (Highway 99)
The Sea to Sky stretches from North Vancouver to Pemberton, passing through iconic spots like Squamish and Whistler along the way.
Our first stop, the North Shore, is where mountain biking legends were born. Think classic features like skinnies, rock gardens, and some of the most talked-about setups in today’s MTB world. It’s a must ride destination if you're biking through BC—where old-school history meets modern trail design.
Heading north along the Highway 99, we hit Squamish, a global hotspot for trail riders. You’ll find world famous trails like In-N-Out Burger, Hueso, and Half Nelson—a mix of epic granite slabs and dreamy loamers straight out of a fantasy. Squamish has it all and then some. To make the most of your visit, hook up with a local guide. Not only will they show you trails that match your skill level, but they’ll also help you step up your technique and confidence on the bike.
Keep heading north, and you’ll arrive at Whistler, a.k.a The Mecca of bikers. A bucket list destination for any MTB rider. Trails like A-Line, Dirt Merchant, and Canadian Downhill need no introduction. Whether you're a beginner looking for green runs or an adrenaline junkie chasing Double Blacks and Pro Lines like Crabapple and Dirt Merchant, Whistler has you covered.
For enduro fans, Whistler’s backcountry trails are next-level, featuring iconic routes like Micro Climate, Hey Budd, Crazy Train, and Dark Crystal—each demanding solid fitness and sharp riding skills. And if you're craving an epic adventure, Lord of the Squirrels is a must. This trail takes you from Whistler Village, sitting at 600m, up to a stunning viewpoint near 2000m. It’s a long, challenging ride, perfect for a full day of breathtaking views and big climbs. Just watch out for the grizzlies!
Finally, we roll into Pemberton, where the landscape and terrain feel like a whole new world. With its diverse network of trails for all skill levels, Pemberton is the perfect finale to a Sea to Sky adventure.
Whether you're chasing gnarly downhill lines, flowy singletrack, or backcountry epics, the Sea to Sky Corridor delivers an unforgettable ride every time.
