Remy Metailler Rides One of the World's Best Rated Trails on Trailforks

This summer, at the start of a trip across the Kootenays, my buddy Alexandre Chapellier and I stopped by Castlegar to ride the famous Captain Kangaroo, rated as the best Trail on Trailforks a couple of years ago!

The climb to the trail was actually quiet enjoyable, and navigates through the forrest all the way to the top with some impressive bridges and a good flow. The Huckleberries were also a nice touch! Unfortunately Alex had a bit of a freak mechanical at the start of the trail that we could not fix so I ended up riding the rest alone all the way to Crazy Merry an epic jump track.
