North Shore Bike Park Announces Closure On March 30th
Press release:
It is with immense regret that we must share some unfortunate & unexpected news. Our beloved facility, which has been a welcomed new home for active families, passionate athletes, and a thriving biking/skating & roller skating community, will close on March 30th at 10PM.
We deeply value the North Shore community and have been honoured to provide families with a local and well-loved indoor recreational facility. Because of this, we want to be transparent and share this information as soon as possible, even as the timeline continues to evolve. We will provide details on our web site shortly.
We have just completed the new Foam Pit, reorganized the Airbag Zone and added new terrain so please come and enjoy this brand new addition.
Spring Break Camps are still on and there’s still a few spaces so sign up now.
We can accommodate birthday parties right up to the last day and all theme nights including Skate Night and Ladies Night will continue. Boomers on Bikes, our program for seniors, will likewise continue.
And we’ll be at the BC Bike Show March 1st and 2nd with the North Shore Bike Park High Velocity Stunt Team so come and say a final hello.
We are heartbroken by this news, but we are not giving up. We are actively looking for a new location and exploring every possible avenue to keep this community alive. We need your support now more than ever. If you or someone you know has leads on potential new locations or wants to help advocate for us, please reach out. Email us at Properties@NorthShoreBikePark.ca
We also want to express our deepest gratitude to our incredible staff, volunteers, and community members who have made North Shore Bike Park such a special place. Your passion and dedication have built an amazing community, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received since opening.
We will be providing information on refunds and other options in the next week.
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. We will keep you updated as we navigate this challenge together.
Sincerly,
The North Shore Bike Park Ownership Group.
