Rumors of Exciting New Santa Cruz V10 Colors and a SRAM Mechanical T-Type at Sea Otter 2025

It’s that time of year again—the season of rumors. A new year is around the corner, and brands are back at it with their over-the-top, consumer-driven tradition of dropping new bikes every year.

This time, though, it’s not about a completely new model but rather an aesthetic update to the Santa Cruz V10—one of the best downhill bikes on the market right now, thanks to its solid bang-for-your-buck performance.

Santa Cruz sticks to a pretty traditional color and design vibe, but with a little imagination and some inspiration from their past colorways, we came up with these possible options.

Word on the street is that the new frame, which will have the same design and specs as the current one, might come in exciting new colors like yellow, green, or a flashy pink/magenta. The yellow is present on the 2024 Nomad and the green-ish yellow combo is present on the 2025 Hightower, however thats a wild color for a downhill bike so if it´s green it should be more muted.

As usual, we can probably expect the bike to be unveiled in the spring, likely at Sea Otter 2025. Rumors also suggest that the event might see the launch of a new SRAM T-Type derailleur—this time, a classic mechanical version.
