Rumor: World Champion Loris Vergier Moves to Commencal Muc-Off

One of the biggest movements in the MTB scene this year could be Loris Vergier joining Commencal's main squad, joining heavy contenders like Myriam Nicole and Amaury Pierron. Vergier, who signed with Trek in 2021, has been crushing it—most recently winning the rainbow jersey at this year's World Championships in Andorra.

While nothing official has dropped, the rumor is looking more likely with the news that ealier today Trek Fatory Racing announced: Loris Vergier, Reece Wilson and Bodhi Kuhn will not be racing on Trek bikes in 2025.

Early chatter hinted at a move to either Norco or Commencal, but the Norco talk seems to have a dead end as the new whispering voices say that the Jewett brothers could be joining Norco.

As of now, Commencal Muc-Off hasn’t commented, and Vergier stays silent, teasing only that news is coming soon. Trek also kept things under wraps, leaving fans guessing a little longer.
