The incident, which occurred a few weeks ago, was described by Dakotah as a "freak mechanical accident" that caused him to be thrown off the bike. After undergoing surgery to repair the injury, he confirmed that he’ll need to remain non-weight bearing for approximately three months as part of his recovery.

This setback means Dakotah will miss the start of the 2025 racing season, but fans are hopeful for his strong return to the downhill circuit later in the year. Stay tuned for updates on his recovery and eventual comeback.
